江迪华🤹🏽，著名数学家👩🏽🦲，美国明尼苏达大学数学系终身教授，并获著名的美国斯隆研究奖。他的研究领域为自守表示理论🫳。
报告内容：
The classical branching problem in group representation theory is to consider the decomposition of a representation of a big group G when restricted to a subgroup H of G. Such a simply minded problem has a broad applications to many subjects beyond the group representation theory: from Number Theory to Mathematical Physics. I will explain the current understanding of such a classical problem in the setting of automorphic forms, which has applications to many important problems in automorphic forms and in the Langlands program.
