报告人简介： Michel Chipot是苏黎世大学数学研究所的教授🐞。他在H. Brezis的指导下获得了巴黎第六大学的博士学位。他担任的主要职务包括：1971-1983年南希大学助理研究员; 1981-1982年布朗大学访问助理教授; 1983-1985年马里兰大学访问助理教授; 1985-1995年，梅斯大学教授🚆🙇🏿♂️；1995年至今任苏黎世大学教授; 2017-2019年中国科学技术大学访问教授🤓。他的研究方向包括变分不等式，非线性问题🎾，椭圆方程和方程组🦊，抛物方程，变分学，应用问题和数值分析𓀙。他发表了200篇文章和7本书，指导了25名博士生🧓🏻，组织了40多次国际会议🫎⛹🏻，包括Metz Days和欧洲椭圆和抛物问题会议（创始人）。他是20多种国际期刊的编委会成员🍛，“椭圆和抛物线方程杂志”的创始人和主编，主编了20本会议论文集和微分方程手册（稳态偏微分方程，6卷）。他获得的荣誉包括欧洲科学院院士（2009年）🏠。 报告内容： We consider the p-Laplacian problem with the exponent of the nonlinearity p depending on the solution u. Both situations when p(u) is a local quantity or when p(u) is nonlocal are studied. For the associated boundary-value local problem, we prove the existence of weak solutions by using a singular perturbation technique. We also prove the existence of weak solutions to the nonlocal version of the associated boundary-value problem. The issue of uniqueness for these problems is addressed, in particular by working out the uniqueness for a one dimensional local problem and by showing that the uniqueness is easily lost in the nonlocal case.
